- Abstract
- Utopia has been always the final destination for human, a supreme and aspiring society in conjunction with human tendencies and desires; a society with no ruthlessness and discrimination, which there is no sign of indigence and irrationality, a society in which people live together with prosperity and health. This aim has constantly occupied some scholar and reformist to plan an ideal society which can satisfy the mentioned goals. in order to access such a society in Islamic philosophy many efforts has been made by Moslem scholar. Farabi and Tossi are two of scholars who develop theories in this category, and cause considerable progresses in philosophical, theoretical and both practical and governmental dimension. Farabi consider philosophy as the base of his work, and in design of Utopia he emphasizes on philosophical and theoretical reason. On the other hand, Toosi designs Utopia with practical and Islamic religious factors, and extends Shia’s imamate theory in mold of philosophical issues in his Utopia.
