- Abstract
- Abstract With due attention to limited reserves of fossil energy in the world and increase in the level of energy consumption, we can not rely on the existence energy resources any more. In addition to electricity production via nuclear energy, confronting the problem of burying the nuclear rubbish. So, the need of unlimited renewable and pure resources that aren’t harmful for the nature, deeply feels. Sun is known as a resource of energy which not only doesn’t have problems as mentioned, but also it can be used easily. One of the methods, is solar tower power that including a solar collector and a long chimney and attracted the attention of researchers. This technology is suitable for the area with high-average of solar irradiance and as we know, our country ?IRAN? has high ranking and also a lot of slopes levels among the world’s country, which are of high average of annual irradiance. In this thesis first of all, provide general explanation about solar energy, benefits and faults of using it. Then kinds of solar chimney technologies, related expenses and mathematical relations of this technology is making clear. At the end with due to attention to accomplished studies and taking the opinion of experts, using Fuzzy TOPSIS & AHP Techniques for analysis of criteria and index. The best place for establishment of solar chimney power on slopes, among the possible alternatives in high irradiance area in Iran –according to irradiance atlas- supposing of equality of power technology is ?TAFT? in ?YAZD? province.
