- Abstract
- Urban old textures on the basis of urban patterns and the effect of economic conditions - social and environmental characteristics have been inhabited, today over time and changes in spatial patterns of construction, the lost lives and have many problems in terms of physical conditions, traffic, economic and social life today. Strategic plans with regard to flexibility and long-term vision and the integration of different levels of planning, the renovation and regeneration of deprived areas is very important. These textures can be, strengths and opportunities that are based on a comprehensive understanding and proper planning these points can be optimal strategies for the improvement and renovation of old textures provided. In this thesis, based on SWOT, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats are identified and based on the opinions of experts, officials and residents of these problems have been studied and have a certain weight based on points earned itself and then improvement strategies and modernization of old tissue are obtained near the center of the city of Mahabad. Based on the results is the best way to intervene in the context of conservative practices and strategies were adjusted accordingly. Strategies obtained act as guidelines and criteria for decision-making and performance improvement and renovation of this area are provided. Historical part of this city has the potential for rehabilitation and reconstruction is potential.
