University of Tehran offers Condolence on the Martyrdom of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution

In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Indeed we belong to God, and indeed to Him we shall return.

Among the believers are men who have been true to their covenant with God. Among them are those who have fulfilled their vow, and among them are those who await [its fulfillment], and they have not changed in the least.

With the utmost regret and sorrow, following the savage attack by the criminal American government and the despicable Zionist regime, the paragon of faith, jihad, and resistance, the great Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah al-Uzma Khamenei (may his sublime rank be exalted), has attained the great blessing of martyrdom and joined his martyred companions and warriors. The great standard-bearer of the Islamic Revolution, who for nearly four decades waged a tireless struggle against global arrogance with admirable courage, carried the banner of Iran's great revolution. After a lifetime of continuous effort, he proudly shed his earthly garment in this sacred path during the holy month of Ramadan, while fasting and in the service of his homeland and religion, donning the noble robe of martyrdom to join his companions, warriors, and followers at the banquet of grace, "provided for them by their Lord." Although this is a great sorrow, our hope in the grace of the Lord and the Guardian of the Faith is rooted in trust in Almighty God and the bright hope that "the righteous shall inherit it."

The University of Tehran offers its condolences on the martyrdom of the wise leader and constant supporter of science, culture, and literature to all seekers of truth and righteousness. It emphasizes that the country's academic community will stand in support of Iran's powerful armed forces in punishing the international terrorists led by America and the fake Zionist regime, as well as those who have encroached upon our dear homeland, Iran, and the perpetrators of this great political and international crime.

God is sufficient for us, and He is an excellent trustee, an excellent master, and an excellent helper.
