College of Management Welcomes International Students for the New Academic Year

The College of Management at the University of Tehran hosted its 2024 academic year opening ceremony for international students on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Al-Ghadir Hall. The event, organized by the Office of International Affairs, was attended by the College’s Dean, executive board, and several faculty members.

The opening remarks were delivered by Prof. Taher Roshandel Arbatani, Dean of the College of Management, who initially extended a warm welcome to the international students. He expressed his hope that the international students of the college would not only serve as cultural ambassadors for Iran in their home countries but also become global advocates for the advancement of managerial science and technology.

For his part, Dr. Abbas Nargesian, Deputy for Academic Affairs, also congratulated the students on the commencement of the new academic year. He emphasized the importance of adhering to academic regulations and upholding high standards in both education and research.

Throughout the ceremony, the attending students shared the key challenges they faced in their academic journey with Dr. Nima Mokhtarzadeh, the Advisor for International Affairs. The discussion provided an opportunity to address their concerns and explore potential solutions.

The event concluded with a special acknowledgment of Dr. Datis Khajeheian, the former Advisor for International Affairs, for his dedicated contributions and support to the international student community. Additionally, the staff of the Office of International Affairs at the College of Management, Ms. Abdar Esfahani and Ms. Hesami, were appreciated for their invaluable efforts
