The International Conference on Leadership in Entrepreneurial Teams(Report)

The International Conference on Leadership in Entrepreneurial Teams was hosted by the Faculty of Entrepreneurship of University of Tehran on Wednesday, June 12th inviting Professor Ron Riggio, an expert in the field of leadership and organizational psychology from Claremont University of California.

Starting the meeting, Dr. Abolghasem Arabiun, the Director of the Technological Entrepreneurship Department at the University of Tehran, spoke about the important role of leadership in entrepreneurial teams and how self-efficacy is as an important element in the success of entrepreneurial leaders.

Next, focusing on the three main axes of leadership, followership and entrepreneurship, Professor Riggio introduced a new concept called transformational leadership and examined its role in entrepreneurial teams from different aspects.

According to the research conducted by Professor Riggio and his team, transformational leaders inspire their team members to perform beyond their expected abilities and play an important role in stimulating their creativity and innovation.

The above webinar was held with the cooperation of the honorable Dean of the Faculty of Entrepreneurship of University of Tehran, Dr. Jahangir Yadolahi Farsi, and the efforts of the master's and PhD students of this group.
