The statement of the President of University of Tehran in response to the suppression of mass protests in dozens of American universities

The condemnation of the crimes of the Zionist regime in Palestine and Gaza has long gone beyond the borders of the resistance axis countries, and especially in countries whose rulers have registered another black mark on their performance by openly supporting Israel's atrocities in Gaza, right-seeking and now the freedom-loving people have come to the fore.

Today, the protests of recent months of people seeking light and freedom from darkness in the countries supporting the bloodthirsty Zionist regime are no longer limited to the demonstrations of people in the streets, but in a more coherent form, show itself in the form of the formation and expansion of student protests and gatherings in the heart of America and European countries.  The protests that have undoubtedly shaken the pro-Zionist institutions with the adjoinment of professors and students.

Dealing with these student protests, massive beatings and arrests of students and desecration of university professors in America and even threatening and forcing university presidents to dismiss and resign, all indicate the narrowing of the field and the loss of rhyme by the ruling body in the country that is the main supporter of the regime and shows the claims of academic freedom in the universities of that country are invalid.

The spread of protests in dozens of American universities and its spread to universities in England and France, etc., with the calculation errors made by the rulers of these countries in response to this move, the Zionist regime and its allies have plunged it into a far more terrifying and deep quagmire and devours what they have sunk into; and this is just the beginning of the story.

In our opinion, "the blood of the martyr will break the gravity of the soil and tear the darkness and open a passage of light." At that time, we used to say that the lovers of Haj Qassem Soleimani's school love martyrdom, and every drop of blood of each and every one of the martyrs that is dedicated to the path of resistance, will be the cause of the growth of more awake and determined people for the movement and the consolidation and strengthening of the inspiring discourse of resistance throughout the world. We understood the true promise as equal to the arrival of professors and young students from every religion and religion in the heart of America and Europe into this field.

The brutal killing of children, women and fighters and Mujahideen in Gaza and the inability of international organizations to stop the heinous crimes of the Zionist regime and its supporters have made the positions taking of the world's free people a universal one and has shaped the awakened consciences of the American and European academic community in denying the violence and killing of the oppressed Palestinian people by the United States and the fake regime of Israel.

Now that students in America and Europe are shouting their will to stand against darkness and blackness, and despite the extensive confrontation of the police and security agencies, have not  deviated from their path but have expanded the protests, we send them a message that we in Iran have the experience of confronting despotism  during the former despotic regim era , many students and youths, professors and intellectuals in our country have paid for the movement led by the wise leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran to come to fruition.

Today, the ideals of the great Khomeini revolution have gone beyond the geographical boundaries and nations, and thanks to the blood of the martyrs and the guidance of Ayatollah Khamenei, the leader of the Muslims of the world, the idea of ​​nation building is rapidly being realized, and it is possible  that the arrogant people fear of joining you to this opinion, so that they are trying to limit and threaten your movement by using coercive power.

The justice-seeking students and pioneer professors of freedom in America and Europe; take our message, don't give up, liberation has costs. We, academicians of Islamic Iran, blessed by the blood of our martyrs, freely shout for the cause of Palestine's freedom; May we be proud in the celebration of freedom, and grateful to the Almighty God by standing firmly and having resistance together with all world freedom seekers. Let’s send greetings to each other and to souls of the martyrs of the resistance.
