UT-TUMS International Day Festival held

According to the public relations report of University of Tehran  , at the same time as the joint International Day Festival of University of Tehran and Tehran University of Medical Sciences, which was held on the evening of Wednesday, February 28, 2024, with the slogan "Acadmeic Collaboration for the World Peace" in the conference hall of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, the ambassador of China in Iran was introduced as the Selected Ambassador by University of Tehran  and the Iraqi ambassador to Iran as Selected Ambassador by Tehran University of Medical Sciences.

Also, Dr. Abdullah Safari from the College of Science, Dr. Hamed Vafaei from the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​and Literature (UT) as international pioneers of UT, with the presence of Dr. Seyed Mohammad Moghimi, President of Tehran University, Dr. Hossein Ghanati, President of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Dr. Elham Aminzadeh, Vice President for International Affairs , UT and Dr. Mohammad Hossein Ayati, Vice President for International Affairs  of Tehran University of Medical Sciences were acknowledged.

Hassan Hossein, a Ph.D.  student in map engineering from Iraq, Mahmoud Ali, a Ph.D.  student in civil engineering from Syria, Ghazal Ibrahim, a Ph.D. student in environmental engineering from Syria, Seddiqe Ali Jani, a master's student in environmental science and engineering from Afghanistan, Kaenat Hamidi, a master's student in the field of physics from Afghanistan, Farid Mostafavi, a master's student in Arabic language translation from Afghanistan,Gazang Nabi Kheder, PhD student in hydrology and meteorology from Iraq, Malihe Rahmani, BA student in visual communication from Afghanistan, Abu Bakr Musa Aliu, PhD student in Islamic Studies from Nigeria, Zohre Qadri, PhD student in Islamic Studies from Afghanistan, Besmellah Khorrami, a master's student in international relations from Afghanistan,Brian Johnson, Ph.D. student of Persian language and literature from the United States, Arthur Isa Beykov, BA student of literature from Russia, Tian Tian, ​​MA student of illustration from China, Kevin Joshua Glockner, MA student of Iranian studies from Germany, Rayang Bam Keen Iranology PhD student from Korea, Samba Umbalu petroleum engineering student from Senegal, Monavar Jan PhD student of Persian language and literature from Turkey and Jun Oya Master of International Relations student from Japan were acknowleged as the selected  international  students.

Reyhane Mahdavi, Ph.D. student in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mohammad Arbabpour, Ph.D. student in Civil Engineering, Davoud Rahmatabadi, Ph.D. student in Mechanical Engineering, Mohammad Amin Vazirirad, Ph.D. student in Energy Systems Engineering, Marjan Elsadat Hosseinifard, Ph.D. student in Agriculture, Hamed Eskandari, Ph.D. student in Desertification, Mohammad Ghayurikhah, PhD student in Meteorology, Milad Behravesh, PhD student in Meteorology, Ebrahim Farhadi, PhD student in Geography and Urban Planning, Sadra Moradi, PhD student in Architecture, and Amin Marandi, PhD student in Health and Aquatic Diseases were recognized as selected Iranian students  of  the  International Day Festiva for the University of Tehran and Tehran University of Medical Sciences.

Dehkhoda Institute and the International Center for Persian Studies  as the selected academic unit, Dr. Maryam Sultan Bayad from the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​and Literature and Dr. Reza Yousefi from the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics as the selected international advisors , Dr. Seyed Abbas Haghshenas from the Institute of Geophysics, Dr. Seyed Nasrolah Ebrahimi from the Faculty of Law and Political Science, Maryam Manafzadeh from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Fatemeh Abdar Esfahani from the College of Management and Mr.Abdolmajid Eskandari, Ms.Tanam Bagheri Nami, Behzad Hafez Nia, Ali Nazari and Abdullah Asadi from the Office of Vice President for International  Affairs , University of Tehran  were announced as winneers of the title  of selected in the festival.

The Confucius Institute (UT Branch) and Golrang Industrial Group were acknowledged with a Plaque of Appreciation for their sponsorship extended to the UT-TUMS International Festival Day. Also, the Ambassador of South Africa on behalf of the South Africa was granted a Plaque of Appreciation for the support of South Africa to the innocent people of Palestine.  

According to this report, Dr. Mohammad Reza Karamati, Dr. RP Manoukian, Dr. Seyed Hossam Hashemian, Dr. Tayyabe Rastegar, Dr. Sakineh Shabbidar, Dr. Omid Aminian, Dr. Alireza Mirbagheri, Dr. Leila Azadbakht and Dr. Reza Faridi Majidi were acknowledged  as the international pioneers of Tehran University of Medical Sciences.  Moreover , Dr. Mohammad Reza Salehi, Dr. Kamran Rudini, Dr. Hossein Ali Abdulrazzaghi, Dr. Marjan Yaghmaei, Dr. Seyed Amir Hossein Javadi, Dr. Gholamreza Hassanzadeh Qiyeh Qeshlaghi, Dr. Kausar Ezna Ashari, Dr. Mohammad Ali Keshvad, Dr. Arghwan Tonekaboni, Dr. Sara Habibzadeh, Dr. Mohammad Abdullahi, Dr. Hamid Akbari Jour, Dr. Elham Shakibazadeh, Dr. Mohammad Sadeq Hassanvand, Dr. Maryam Esmaili, Dr. Nasim Minaei Chatroudi, Dr. Zahra Kashani Khatib, Dr. Siamak Beshardost Tajali, Dr. Shermin Kharazi, Dr. Korosh Jafarian and Dr. Maitham Shirzad as selected professors of international activities of Tehran University of Medical Sciences were celebrated and acknowledged.

Hossein Riaz Ali Shalake from Iraq, Zeenat Nesar from India, Robab Zahra from India, Alio Tijani from Ghana, Nimra Ershad from Pakistan, Hasson Jabar Zamel from Iraq, Ala Muhammad Abdul Abbas Al Ghorab from Iraq, Muhammad Sajed from Pakistan and Batul Shekar from of Lebanon were awarded the title of selected international students of Tehran University of Medical Sciences,Afsana Naghdi, Asieh Shahidi, Elham Rezazadeh, Alireza Alipour, Zinat Nikou, Maryam Farahani, Emaduddin Naraghi, Maryam Sabripour, Faryal Khanqah, Negar Nouri, Sepideh Mohammadpour, Navid Khodadadi, Ali Rahmani, Mohammad Ali Kouchnani, Hossam Gilvari, Mitra Rezaei and Zohre Sadeghi were  introduced as the selected figures of TUMS  and the School of Medicine as the selected faculty as well
