Veteran scholar Mohammad-Ali Azarshab to be honored for lifetime achievement
TEHRAN- Renowned Iranian scholar Mohammad-Ali Azarshab, [UT faculty member]known for his expertise in Arabic language and literature, will be honored for his lifetime achievement in a ceremony at the International University of Islamic Denominations in Tehran on December 11.
The event aims to celebrate Azarshab's commendable efforts in realizing Islamic unity and convergence, as well as opening new horizons for researchers and enthusiasts in the field, the organizers announced on Wednesday.
During the ceremony, several distinguished scholars and intellectuals will deliver speeches reflecting on Azarshab's extensive years of research in the field of approximation and unity of the Islamic Ummah, as well as his significant contributions to Arabic language and literature.
Azarshab, who is also recognized as an esteemed professor and prominent researcher, has notably compiled the Arabic edition of the memoirs of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, entitled "Inna Ma as-Sabri Nasra".
