UT delegation visits Beijing Science and Technology Park
The delegation of the University of Tehran headed by Prof. Elham Aminzadeh, Vice President for International Affairs, who is in Beijing to attend the World Chinese Language Congress and the annual meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Confucius Institute of the University of Tehran, visited the "Knowledge Network" in the Beijing Science and Technology Park. Liu Chang Shin, the CEO of this establishment, in a meeting with the University of Tehran delegation, while referring to the capacities of its respective network, pointed out cooperation with different countries in the field of information and research data exchange and called for operational interaction with the University of Tehran.
In this meeting, Prof. Elham Aminzadeh, Vice President for International Affairs, UT pointed out the need for Iranian researchers to use Chinese first-hand resources in many fields in which China is known to be leading today, and expressed University of Tehran's readiness to share. She further spoke about research and exploitation of the scientific resources of this collection.
She also pointed out the significant capacity of the Central Library of UT and the historical records of this establishment and spoke about the effort to prepare the interaction of China's knowledge network with this establishment .
Before this meeting, the delegation of University of Tehran consisting of Prof. Elham Aminzadeh, Vice President for International Affairs, University of Tehran, Prof. Farideh Alavi, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures, UT and Prof. Hamed Vafaei, the Iranian Director of the Confucius Institute of UT, visited he data production line and talked with the people involved in that establishment.
