Cooperation with Peoples Friendship University of Russia

On 4 December, 2023, Dr. Zargar, the representative of Peoples Friendship University of Russia named after Patrice Lumumba Russia, Moscow had a meeting with Abdolmajid Eskandari, Director General, Office of International Relations, University of Tehran and Prof. Naghavi, Director General for Research Policy and Development. In this meeting , Prof. Oleg Barnashov Head of Office for cooperation with international organizations Department of international cooperation in science & education Peoples Friendship University of Russia named after Patrice Lumumba ,Russia, Moscow also joined virtually.

Based on the mutual negotiation, University of Tehran expressed its interest to join with SCO which is a network of Shanghai member universities.  Moreover, both sides voiced their readiness to expand their academic and research cooperation and promote the already established ties.
