Prof. Bahram Meghdadi passes away

Prof.  Bahram Meghdadi one of the eminent professors of Department of English Language and Literature, Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literature, University of Tehran passed away.

Prof. Bahram Meghdadi was a graduate of Persian language and literature and in 1966 he received a doctorate in English literature from Columbia University. In addition to teaching students at the University of Tehran and producing excellent scientific articles, he authored valuable books and tranlations such as East of  Eden["Sharq Behesht"], "An Understanding of Kafka", "Analysis and Excerpts of Sohrab Sepehri's Poetry", "A Glossory of Literary Terms", "Hedayat and Sepehri" and in his academic record and research records, the fruits of fruitful and blessed activities of this learned teacher will remain forever.
