Indiana University Journal of World Philosophies Publishes Nadia Maftouni’s Biographical Paper to Show Her Global Impact on Philosophy.
Journal of World Philosophies invited UT’s Nadia Maftouni to write this paper to describe her activities focusing on the field of philosophy of art.
The paper begins by this sentence:
“In the beginning was art, and art was with philosophy, and art was philosophy.”
In the first section “In the beginning was art,” Nadia explains her artistic aspect of life since childhood. In the second part “And art was with philosophy,” follows her philosophical side of life. In the third section “And art was philosophy,” Maftouni talks about how she put philosophical issues in her paintings and in her poems.
“Gobal Impact of Art” and “Global Impact of Philosophy” are two last sections of this paper the link of which follows:
