THE 52nd AUAP EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETING held in Bangladesh
The 52nd AUAP Executive Board Meeting was held at Daffodil International Univfersity, Bangladesh on November 14, 2022.
In this meeting , Abdolmajid Eskandari, Director General , Office of International presented the report of Digital Transformation Commitee (DTC) virtually as follows:

In line with the objectives of AUAP, AUAP Digital Transformation Committee (DTC), certain measures have been taken by Committee Members in their countries to guarantee the continuation of education with the help of digital facilities in one way or another in post-Covid 19 era.
The action taken by each AUAP member universities are different proportional with their specific objectives and infrastructures. The following lines presents UT activities as an example which can be shared with other member universities.
Presenting the "Proposed package for the development and transformation of education with an emphasis on transformational technologies and a hybrid approach in the University of Tehran", the E-Learning and Knowledge Management Center under the supervision of the Office of Vice-President for Digital Technologies at the University of Tehran has provided technological arrangements for the development and continuation of hybrid learning and e-learning, at the beginning of the academic year. as follows:
-Upgrading the electronic learning system software (https://elearn.ut.ac.ir) to the latest stable version with a capacity of 3000 simultaneous users.
-Setting up and integrating electronic class systems (Adobe Connect) with E-learn and with a capacity of 9000 simultaneous users.
-Adding the possibility of using the HTML5 function and viewing the archive of classes on mobile phones and tablets, etc.
-Launching and integration of electronic class reservation systems (Big Blue Button) with E-learn and with capacity of 4000 simultaneous users.
-Adding the possibility of compressing recorded videos to reduce the amount of storage used and ease of viewing videos again
-Improving the infrastructure security of e-learning systems
-Making automatic update of courses, professors and students in specific time intervals from the beginning of the semester to the end of the semester
-Coordinating the beginning of the semester with the liaisons of faculties and schools
- Making continuation of offering the university's virtual academic courses according to the previous procedure
- Performing the development of blended education
