UTSTP Engineers Build Global Navigation Satellite System with Centimeter-Level Accuracy

UT PR: Hironegar-e-Pars Company, based in the UT Science and Technology Park, has successfully designed and built a global navigation satellite system featuring centimeter-level accuracy.

In a report published by the UT Science and Technology Park, Meysam Ghanizadeh, CEO of Hironegar-e-Pars Company, points out the multifarious uses of navigation satellite systems and introduces their new product. According to Mr. Ghanizadeh, the newly developed system of Hironegar-e-Pars Company falls into the category of satellite topographic mapping devices. 

In 2018, the company drafted the first design, which was developed into a prototype in 2019. The early model of the product was successfully built and marketed in 2020. The new product is the highly improved and enhanced model of the earlier product, which, for instance, was not equipped with a display screen and did not feature online services. 

The new GNSS is built in accordance with the highest standards in the world and fully qualified to compete with products manufactured by such leading countries as Switzerland, Germany, the United States, and China.
