UT Professor Formulates First National Standard for Performance Evaluation and Classification of Hydrophobic Surfaces

Supervised y Dr. Farshid Chini, Assistant Professor at UT School of Mechanical Engineering, a team of researchers have formulated the First National Standard for Performance Evaluation and Classification of Hydrophobic Surfaces.

According to the UT School of Engineering, this standard was formulated through the collaboration between a research team supervised by Dr. Farshid Chini, Iran’s Standard Research Institute, Institute for Color Science and Technology, and Iran Nanotechnology Innovation Council (INIC).

Several scholars working in the associated fields, as well as a number of private institutions, additionally contributed to the implementation of this plan.
