University of Tehran Ranked 1st in Iran, 301-400th Globally in Latest ARWU Ranking
UT PR: According to the 2021 Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), the University of Tehran ranks top in Iran, 2nd among Islamic countries, and 301-400th in the world again.
In the latest Academic Ranking of World Universities (Shanghai Ranking), top 1000 universities in the world have been ranked, among which Harvard and Stanford from the United States and Cambridge from England are ranked 1st to 3rd, respectively.
With 11 academic institutions listed in ARWU 2021, the Islamic Republic of Iran rises to the top among Islamic countries.
King Abdulaziz University from Saudi Arabia with a worldwide ranking range of 101-150 ranks top among universities in the Islamic world.
The University of Tehran from Iran and the University of Malaya from Malaysia share the 2nd place in the Islamic world with a worldwide ranking range of 301-400.
