University of Tehran Ranked 1st in Iran, 396th Globally in Latest Webometrics Ranking

704 Iranian academic institutions have been listed in the July 2021 edition of Webometrics Ranking of World Universities (Ranking Web of Universities), which includes 30000 academic institutions worldwide.

According to the latest edition, the University of Tehran ranks top in Iran and 396th in the world. The highest ranking attained by the University of Tehran is 253th in the Excellence Rank index. 

Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Amirkabir University of Technology, Sharif University of Technology, Tarbiat Modares University, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran University of Science and Technology, Isfahan University of Technology, and Shiraz University are ranked 2nd to 10th in Iran, respectively.
