UT Counseling Center Holds International Self-Care Day Symposium
The event was organized by the UT Counseling Center and the Student Affairs Organization at the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology. Emphasizing the centrality of social health in universities, Dr. Gholamreza Ghafari additionally stressed the significance of attending to self-care in our modern times. As he remarked, proper self-care paves the ground for obtaining n array of profound insights that can in turn serve as stepping stones for improving one’s abilities in life’s different aspects.
Dr. Saeed Habiba, UT Vice-President of Student Affairs, addressed self-care as the most straight-forward way through which people can maintain their physical, social, and spiritual health. As he stated, in order to cultivate the positive effects of self-care, its practice needs to be regarded as a continuous activity with a potential to exert transformational influence over one’s wellbeing.
