PhD Student in University of Tehran and University of Valencia Joint Program Defends Dissertation

UT PR: Hossein Azarmdel, the second PhD student in the University of Tehran and the University of Valencia joint program, defended his dissertation on designing and developing an online trout processing system.

The dissertation was supervised by Dr. Seyed Saeid Mohtasebi, Professor of Mechanical Engineering at UT Agriculture and Natural Resources Campus, and Dr. Alfredo Rosado, Professor at the University of Valencia. Dr. Ali Jafari and Dr. Hossein Behfar were the readers of this dissertation.

Based on an Erasmus agreement between the University of Tehran and the University of Valencia, the dissertation was signed by the two universities, and was awarded “passed with distinction”. Dr. Azarmdel has been granted a PhD in biosystems engineering from the University of Tehran and a PhD in electronics engineering from the University of Valencia.

Prior to this, Ayda Khorramnejad, the first PhD student in the joint program between the University of Tehran and the University of Valencia, had defended her PhD dissertation and had been granted a PhD in Biotechnology and Biomedicine from the University of Valencia and a PhD in Agricultural Entomology- Biological Control from the University of Tehran.
