UT Next 1400: 1st Digital University of Tehran Fair to Take Place in August/September 2021
To celebrate the upcoming academic year, the University of Tehran has been planning to organize its 1st digital fair to be held in August/September 2021. The UT Center for Digital Innovation will preside over the event. Professors, students, specialists, and directors working on the relevant subjects will participate in the event.
The fair’s primary objectives include:
- Creating a forum to discuss UT’s latest achievements in the field of digital innovation
- Providing an opportunity for professors, students, and specialists to interact and exchange ideas
- Promoting the digital discourse among academics and providing digital education for professors, students, and specialists
- Mapping out a plan for digitalizing the University of Tehran
- Discussing ideas concerning the achievements made in the field of eLearning
- Promoting the development of digital content with a view to enhance the aesthetic qualities of the content
- Identifying and acknowledging digital activists
- Supporting innovative ideas and offering facilities to identify and recruit potential entrepreneurs in digital areas
To achieve the aforementioned goals, the event is divided into three separate events: “eLearning Fair” (August 31-September 2), “Conference on eLearning: Lived Experiences, Evaluation, and Foresight” (August 24-29), and “Digital Innovations Fair” (August 28-September 2). The events will revolve around the following agenda:
- Article presentation at a conference on science and pedagogy, culture, evaluation, and foresight with regard to academic instruction
- Article presentation at a conference on eLearning instruction
- Presenting selected electronic designs in terms of aesthetics, technique, and method
- Introducing selected university courses in terms of aesthetics, technique, and method
- Introducing student activists and specialists in the field of eLearning
- Organizing workshops
- Organizing specialized exhibitions and introducing knowledge enterprises
- Delivering key lectures and conducting specialized interviews
- Holding panel discussions
- Introducing UT’s digital innovation services
- Introducing the road map to digital UT
- Receiving ideas and solutions for issues pertaining to digital innovation (reverse pitch)
