UT and Ministry of Justice Sign Memorandum of Understanding
Delineating the manifold activities undertaken by UT Office of Student Affairs and the University’s counseling center, Dr. Habiba also talked about the array of webinars held on subjects such as social affairs, health, and addiction during the COVID-19 pandemic.
He additionally addressed UT’s collaborations with other organizations and institutes with a view to fulfill the University’s social responsibility.
He expressed hope that the memorandum of understanding would enable UT and the Ministry of Justice to organize joint projects in the corresponding fields.
Dr. Abbasi indicated the centrality of universities in initiating debates about social pathology, citizenship rights, children’s rights, and human rights. He emphasized that the memorandum of understanding would draw a connection between universities and the executive branch of the government.
The two parties also discussed converging their scientific and educational resources and plans, including libraries, workshops, seminars, and short-term courses.
