Dr. Mohammad Mahdi Tavakoli Presents Lecture at UT School of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering

Dr. Mohammad Mahdi Tavakoli, a research scientist at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, delivered a lecture at the UT School of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering on Monday, May 31 at 9:30 a.m. His lecture entitled “Suppressing Photovoltaic Losses in Monolithic Tandem Perovskite/PbS QDs Solar Cells via Passivation and Light Management Strategies” tackled the issue of energy loss in single junction solar cells by arguing for a tandem design that yields higher operational stability and efficiency.
