The First Webinar on the Corona Crisis and Ecosystem of Entrepreneurship and Innovation was Held at University of Tehran

According to the Science and Technology Park of UT, this Park held the first webinar on the Corona crisis and ecosystem of entrepreneurship and innovation on April 14, 2020 with cooperation of the Science and Technology Park of Sharif University of Technology while Dr. Ali Davari and Dr. Hamid Padash, members of Faculty of Entrepreneurship, and Dr. Ali Musavi, faculty member of Barkat Ventures, were present at the webinar. 

Dr. Ali Davari, faculty member of Faculty of Entrepreneurship, stated at the beginning of the webinar, "The world has not been through such an experience since the Second World War. This challenge has occupied 180 developed and undeveloped countries around the world." Dr. Davari mentioned four scenarios in regard to cessation of Corona outbreak and pointed out, "the optimistic scenario believed that the Pandemic will be over in March and this scenario was obviously rejected. The realistic scenario suggests that the crisis will continue until June. The pessimistic scenario indicates that Corona crisis will carry on till August and, in the end, a very pessimistic scenario has been proposed and it suggests that the country will be occupied with the crisis throughout the second part of year, i.e., in the October. 

Dr. Hamid Padash, faculty member of Faculty of Entrepreneurship, pointed to consequences of the pandemic on the ecosystem of Entrepreneurship in the world and asserted, "Efficient communication and information infrastructure should be created and developed and sponsorship in the field of start-ups should also be upgraded to the desired level so that the entrepreneurs could easily develop their investments." 

Dr. Ali Musavi, faculty member of Barkat Ventures, referred to the issue of sanctions and proclaimed, "we need to bring the situation under scrutiny to be able to act appropriately during the crisis and throughout the post-Corona era. The pandemic was a serious test for online businesses, online education and etc."
