Several Technology and Innovation Projects Launched in Presence of Iran’s Vice President for Science and Technology

UT PR: On April 4, Dr. Sorena Sattari, Iran’s Vice President for Science and Technology, paid a visit to several technology and innovation centers based in the UT.

On April 4, Dr. Sorena Sattari, Iran’s Vice President for Science and Technology, paid a visit to several technology and innovation centers based in the UT. The following projects and inventions were launched in the presence of Dr. Sattari:

  • Internet of Things Innovation Center (IOTIC) at the UT’s Science and Technology Park
  • Innovation centers located at the UT Faculty of Geography, and the Faculty of Psychology and Education
  • “Hamafza” accelerator at the UT School of Mechanical Engineering
  • A laser-based Remote Methane Leak Detector at the UT School of Physics

Dr. Sattari also visited the College of Engineering’s National Laboratory of Advanced Powertrain as well as the Vehicle, Fuel, and Environment Research Institute at the UT School of Mechanical Engineering.

Dr. Mahmoud Nili Ahmadabadi, President of the UT, along with a number of UT officials, accompanied Dr. Sattari in this visit.
