Philosophy of Music: UT’s Faculty of Theology and Islamic Studies Holds Joint Webinar with McGill University’s School of Music
UT PR: On April 2, Dr. Dorian Komanoff Bandy, Professor of Music at McGill University, and Dr. Nadia Maftouni, UT Professor and Researcher in the Philosophy of Islamic Art, delivered lectures in a joint webinar entitled “Philosophy of Music”.
In this webinar, Dr. Kamanoff Bandy drew on his teaching and research output to examine the topic in question from several aspects, while Dr. Maftouni discussed the philosophy of music from a Farabian perspective.
