New findings of University of Tehran researchers about the extent and exact location of the effect of magnetic fields in the body

According to the public relations report of University of Tehran, Dr. Seyed Peyman Shariat Panahi, a member of the academic staff of the biochemistry department of The Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics, said: Due to the progress of mass communication devices such as mobile phones and the expansion of power lines around the world, humans are currently in are exposed to the magnetic field generated by this equipment. Due to the low intensity of these fields, in the past decades it was thought that these fields do not affect living organisms. The first effects related to weak magnetic fields in the issue of bird migration were observed using the Earth's magnetic field, and this became one of the modern scientific examples called quantum biology.
A member of the academic staff of the Biochemistry Department The Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics  of University of Tehran said about the results of the new research in the field of the effect of magnetic fields on the human body: the new research of the researchers of The Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics  of the University of Tehran showed that these magnetic fields, although insignificant, on all cells, even the smallest part of the human body, can be effective.
Dr. Shariat Panahi added: In this study, the location of the effect of these fields inside the cell was also determined.
These magnetic fields affect a place in the cell that is the cellular energy production factory (mitochondria).
Very little, not only on migratory birds, but they can affect all living things, including humans. This issue can be a new example in the science of quantum biology, where biological phenomena are explained not only by classical physics but also by unexpected quantum laws.
A member of the academic staff of the biochemistry department The Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics  emphasized: this matter, while warning health in the use of modern electrical tools, can be promising for the use of these fields in the treatment of various diseases.
According to the public relations report of University of Tehran, the results of the research about the extent and exact location of the effect of magnetic fields in the body are the result of three master's theses and one doctoral thesis of the students of University of  Tehran 's The Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics .
