Bahram Akasheh passed away

Bahram Akasheh, an Iranian geophysicist and seismologist and Professor of the Institute of Geophysics at the University of Tehran, died on 2 June 2025  at the age of 89. He was considered one of Iran's leading experts on earthquakes and seismic activity.
