President of Russian Islamic University Awarded Honorary Appointment by UT

At a ceremony held on July 30, Dr. Kazem Jalali, the Iranian Ambassador to the Russian Federation, bestowed an Honorary Professorship on Dr. Rafiq Muhammadshin, President of the Russian Islamic University, on behalf of the University of Tehran. 

Dr. Muhammadshin expressed his gratitude and stated that receiving such a distinguished title was a great honor. He also expressed his wish for further collaboration between the Russian Islamic University in Kazan and the University of Tehran, particularly in Islamic and Iranian Studies. 

Dr. Jalali referred to Dr. Muhammadshin as an eminent and honorable professor and noted that the Honorary Professorship awarded by the University of Tehran appoints Dr. Muhammadshin as Professor of Islamic Studies at the UT Faculty of Theology and Islamic Studies for a term of three years.
