Center for Tourism Studies
History
The Center for Tourism Studies was established in 2005 in the University of Tehran following the signing of an agreement between the Iran Cultural Heritage, Handicraft, and Tourism Organization and the Faculty of Social Sciences. The Center has six research departments of Adjustment and Classification, Rural and Ecotourism, International, Communication, Technology, and Tourism. Due to the ever-growing importance of tourism industry in the world and in Iran, the Center assists the industry by providing solutions to the private and public sectors through research on the related scientific, economic, social, and cultural activities.
